Terms of Service

Version 1.2 — Effective 12 August 2026

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the website https://tempteed.com, its sub-domains, and any related applications and services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Selodap Limited ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, ticking the acceptance checkbox, or using the Service, you enter into a legally binding agreement with us on these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Definitions

• "Account" — the personal account you register on the Service.
• "Coins" — the virtual currency usable exclusively within the Service (see Section 8).
• "Content" — any text, image, video, audio or other material available on the Service.
• "User Content" — Content submitted by users, including profile data, photos and messages.
• "Premium" — paid subscription features as described in Section 9.
• "Contracting Entity" — the legal entity identified in Section 3 with which you contract for the Service.
• "User Market" — the country or territory from which you access the Service, normally determined from your declared country, billing address, IP geolocation and/or payment country. Your User Market determines which consumer, privacy and age-assurance rules apply to you.
• "Entertainment Profiles" — profiles operated by the Service as described in Section 6.
• "Primary Markets" — countries and territories where the Service is available.

2. Nature and Purpose of the Service

2.1. The Service is an online dating platform on which adults can create profiles, discover other profiles, and exchange messages and virtual items. Some profiles are operated by the Service (Entertainment Profiles — see the disclosure in Section 6); other profiles belong to real users.

2.2. The Service is provided and experienced online. What you make of your connections beyond the platform is up to you; we do not arrange meetings and we do not guarantee any particular outcome — including that you will match with, chat with, meet or enter into a relationship with anyone. The Service is not a marriage brokerage, matchmaking agency or escort service.

2.3. The Service contains age-restricted and adult-oriented Content and is strictly reserved for adults (see Section 4).

3. Contracting Entity and Applicable Law

3.1. Your contract for the Service is with Selodap Limited (the "Contracting Entity"), Rm 511, 5/F, Ming Sang Industrial Building, 19-21 Hing Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Hong Kong, Company Registration No. 80690841 (Hong Kong). The Contracting Entity is the data controller for your Account as described in the Privacy Policy.

3.2. User Market. Your User Market (Section 1) may differ from the Contracting Entity's jurisdiction. Consumer-protection, privacy, tax and age-assurance laws of your User Market apply where they cannot be contracted out of, and we apply market-appropriate disclosures, consent flows, billing rules and age-assurance measures accordingly. The Service is offered in countries and territories where the Service is available.

3.3. Individual features may be subject to additional conditions communicated at the point of use; those conditions form part of these Terms.

3.4. Our Privacy Policy, Adult Content & Age Policy, Cookie Policy, Community Guidelines and Refund & Cancellation Policy are incorporated by reference.

4. Eligibility — Adults Only

4.1. You must be at least eighteen (18) years old (or the higher age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an Account or use the Service in any way.

4.2. During registration you must provide your true date of birth and affirmatively confirm that you are of legal age. We record this attestation (including date, time, IP address and device information) as legal evidence.

4.3. Access to certain Age-Restricted Content additionally requires completion of an age-verification step as described in the Adult Content & Age Policy. We may deny, suspend or revoke access to some or all of the Service if age verification fails or is refused.

4.4. We reserve the right to require re-verification at any time and to suspend or terminate any Account that we reasonably suspect is held by a minor. Suspected use by minors will be investigated and may be reported to competent authorities.

4.5. You may hold only one Account. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.

5. Account Registration and Security

5.1. You must provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and keep it up to date.

5.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your Account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] of any unauthorized use.

5.3. Registration requires your affirmative, unticked-by-default acceptance of: (a) these Terms; (b) the Privacy Policy acknowledgement; and (c) the Adult Content consent. Marketing communications require a separate, optional opt-in. We keep an auditable record of each acceptance, including the exact document version accepted.

5.4. We may refuse registration or restrict Accounts at our reasonable discretion, including for fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, or breach of these Terms.

6. Entertainment Profiles and Moderated Communication — IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE

6.1. Certain profiles on the Service ("Entertainment Profiles") are created and managed by the Service, its contractors or automated systems (including AI). Entertainment Profiles do not correspond to real, physically available persons. Other profiles belong to real users of the Service.

6.2. Messages from Entertainment Profiles may be generated by professional operators (moderators) and/or automated/AI systems. A physical meeting with an Entertainment Profile is not possible.

6.3. Entertainment Profiles help keep the community active and let you use every feature of the Service. Interactions with them consume Coins in the same way as interactions with any other profile.

6.4. By accepting these Terms you acknowledge that Entertainment Profiles and moderated/AI-assisted communication are part of the Service. Your acceptance is recorded in your consent history together with the version of these Terms.

6.5. Where the law of your User Market requires additional or different labelling of Entertainment Profiles, we apply that labelling in the product.

7. User Content and Licence

7.1. You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (e.g. resizing, blurring), publish and display your User Content for the purpose of operating, promoting and improving the Service, for the duration of your Account and as required thereafter for legal compliance.

7.2. You represent and warrant that: (a) you own or control all rights in your User Content; (b) all persons depicted are at least 18 years old and have consented to the depiction and its use on an adult-oriented service; and (c) your User Content complies with the Community Guidelines.

7.3. We may review, moderate (including via automated tools), reject or remove User Content at any time, including images classified as age-restricted, which are subject to the access controls described in the Adult Content & Age Policy.

7.4. You must not upload any Content depicting a person under 18, and we apply a zero-tolerance policy: such Content is removed, the Account terminated, and the matter reported to competent authorities.

8. Coins (Virtual Currency)

8.1. Certain features require Coins. Coins are a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to access designated features; Coins are not money, have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may not be sold or transferred outside the Service.

8.2. Coins granted free of charge (bonuses, promotions) may be subject to additional conditions and may expire.

8.3. Purchased Coins are delivered immediately upon payment. Refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy; statutory rights remain unaffected.

8.4. Except where the mandatory law of your User Market provides otherwise, unused Coins lapse without compensation upon termination of your Account. Free/bonus Coins always lapse without compensation. If we terminate your Account without cause, we will, at our option, either allow a reasonable period to use remaining purchased Coins or refund their unused value.

9. Premium and Paid Features

9.1. Premium features, prices, billing periods and renewal conditions are displayed at the point of purchase.

9.2. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods equal to the initial period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period via your Account settings or by contacting [email protected].

9.3. Price changes will be communicated in advance and apply only from the next renewal.

10. Acceptable Use

You must not, and must not attempt to:

• use the Service if under 18, or facilitate access by any minor;
• upload, distribute or request illegal Content, including child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or Content depicting violence or coercion;
• solicit, advertise or provide commercial sexual services, escorting or prostitution;
• harass, threaten, defame or defraud anyone;
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity, age or affiliation;
• extract, scrape, harvest or index data or profiles, including by automated means;
• introduce malware, probe, or interfere with the operation or security of the Service;
• use another user's Account or share your Account;
• solicit money or items of value from anyone;
• circumvent access controls, age verification, or content gating (including blurring);
• use the Service for unsolicited advertising, pyramid schemes or comparable practices.

Violations are handled per the Community Guidelines and Section 13.

11. Reporting and Moderation

11.1. You can report Content or behaviour via the in-product reporting features or at [email protected]. We review reports and take appropriate action, including warnings, Content removal, feature restriction, suspension or termination.

11.2. We use a combination of automated systems and human review for moderation. Where required by applicable law (including transparency and appeal obligations in the UK, Australia and comparable jurisdictions), we provide statements of reasons and complaint mechanisms in relation to moderation decisions.

12. Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, design, trademarks, logos, databases and all Content other than User Content, is owned by or licensed to Selodap Limited and protected by intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except as expressly set out in these Terms.

13. Suspension and Termination

13.1. You may terminate your Account at any time via Account settings or by written notice to [email protected].

13.1.1. Reversible deactivation is not termination. If you deactivate your Account, your profile is hidden and access is revoked until you explicitly reactivate it by logging in and confirming. Optional marketing, activity-notification and push communications are disabled and remain disabled after reactivation unless you enable them again.

13.1.2. If a recurring Premium subscription is active, deactivation requires you to choose whether renewal remains active or is cancelled at the end of the current paid period. Deactivation alone does not cancel a subscription.

13.1.3. Permanent deletion is separate. Before accepting a deletion request, we cancel recurring Premium renewal. If cancellation cannot be confirmed automatically, deletion is not started and support assistance is offered. Once accepted, the request hides the Account immediately, prevents reactivation, and deletes or anonymises Account and profile data within 30 days, subject only to the limited legal-retention exceptions in the Privacy Policy. You may request an export before confirming deletion.

13.2. We may suspend or terminate your Account with immediate effect for good cause, including material or repeated breach of these Terms, illegal activity, risk to others, chargeback abuse, or reasonable suspicion that the Account is held or used by a minor. Where proportionate, we will warn you first. A failed or refused age verification by itself restricts access to Age-Restricted Content only (Adult Content & Age Policy, Section 4.5); it is not, alone, a termination ground.

13.3. Upon termination, Sections 6 to 8, 12, and 14 to 19 survive. Data retention after termination is governed by the Privacy Policy; consent and age-verification audit records are retained as required for legal compliance.

14. Disclaimers

14.1. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability.

14.2. We do not verify the identity, statements or conduct of users (other than the checks expressly described), and we are not a party to any interaction between users. Exercise caution when interacting with others online and never share financial information.

14.3. WE DO NOT PERFORM CRIMINAL BACKGROUND SCREENINGS OF USERS. Read the Safety Tips in our Community Guidelines for a safer and more enjoyable experience.

15. Liability

15.1. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for intent or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

15.2. Subject to 15.1, our liability for breach of these Terms is limited to direct, foreseeable losses typical for this type of service, except where a higher standard is imposed by mandatory law in your jurisdiction.

15.3. Subject to 15.1 and 15.2, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the amounts you paid to the Contracting Entity in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to liability, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

16. Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by the law of your User Market, you will indemnify and hold us harmless from third-party claims, damages and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from your User Content or your breach of these Terms or applicable law, except to the extent caused by our own breach.

17. Changes to the Service and to these Terms

17.1. We may modify the Service to reflect technical, legal, security or business developments, provided the core features you paid for are not materially reduced during a paid period.

17.2. We may amend these Terms. For material changes we will notify you (e.g. in-product or by email) and, where required, request your renewed affirmative acceptance of the updated version before continued use. The version and date of the Terms you accepted are recorded.

17.3. If you do not accept a material change, you may terminate your Account with effect from the date the change would apply to you. In that case, prepaid Premium periods not yet started are refunded pro-rata, and we will either allow a reasonable period to use remaining purchased Coins or refund their unused value. Continued use after the effective date of a non-material change constitutes acceptance where your User Market's law permits.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

18.1. Governing law. Subject to 18.2, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (the Contracting Entity's jurisdiction), without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would apply another country's laws.

18.2. Mandatory protections (User Market). If you are a consumer, the choice of law in 18.1 does not deprive you of the protection of provisions that cannot be derogated from by agreement under the law of the country where you habitually reside (your User Market). Where those rights conflict with a clause in these Terms, the mandatory rights prevail to the extent required.

18.3. Informal resolution. Contact [email protected] first; most disputes are resolved without formal proceedings.

18.4. Courts. Subject to Section 18.6, courts at Hong Kong have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in, and may only be sued in, the courts of your place of habitual residence where mandatory law so provides.

18.5. Market-specific mechanisms (by User Market):

• United States: state Attorney General offices; FTC for certain billing practices; state privacy regulators; auto-renewal and refund rights vary by state (see Refund Policy);
• United Kingdom: ICO (privacy); UK consumer ADR schemes where we participate; Consumer Rights Act remedies;
• Canada: Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy); provincial consumer-protection bodies (billing);
• Australia: OAIC (privacy); ACL consumer guarantees;
• New Zealand: Office of the Privacy Commissioner; Fair Trading Act / CGA remedies.

18.6. United States — Arbitration Agreement and Class Action Waiver. If your User Market is the United States, you and we agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that is not resolved informally under Section 18.3 within sixty (60) days of written notice will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, conducted remotely or in your county of residence. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this Section. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual-property infringement. You and we each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in any class, collective, consolidated or representative action. If twenty-five (25) or more similar demands are filed in coordination, the parties will cooperate in good faith on a batching process consistent with AAA rules before individual arbitrations proceed. Opt-out: you may opt out of this arbitration agreement, without affecting any other provision, within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms, by emailing [email protected] from your registered email address with the subject "Arbitration Opt-Out". If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) proceeds in court. This Section does not apply where prohibited by law.

18.7. We are not obliged to participate in dispute-resolution schemes we have not expressly joined, except where required by law.

19. Miscellaneous

19.1. Severability. If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect, and the invalid provision is deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its intent.

19.2. We may assign this agreement to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition or asset sale, provided this does not reduce your contractual or statutory rights; where your User Market's law requires, you may terminate upon assignment. You may not assign your Account.

19.3. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

19.4. Order of precedence. In case of conflict: (1) mandatory law of your User Market; (2) these Terms; (3) the Adult Content & Age Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy; (4) the Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy (informational) and Cookie Policy. A document more specific to the subject matter prevails within the same rank.

19.5. Contract language and storage. The contract is concluded in English (translations are provided for convenience; where mandatory law gives a local-language version precedence for consumers, it prevails). We store the version of the Terms you accepted and it remains available on request and in your consent history. Before submitting the registration form you can review and correct your entries; the technical steps to conclude the contract are: completing the form, ticking the required consents, and submitting.
