Your safety tools

Report a user

Available from every profile and chat menu. Reports of non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII) and suspected minors are prioritized and handled within 48 hours.

Block a user

Blocking instantly stops all contact, both ways. The blocked user is not notified.

Not my type

Permanently removes a profile from your recommendations, discovery and swipe. No questions asked.

18+ only, verified

This Service is strictly for adults. Age verification gates sensitive content, and suspected underage accounts are reviewed by our team.

We do not perform criminal background screenings

Like most dating services, we do not run criminal background checks on our users. Treat every new contact with the same caution you would use with any stranger. The tips below exist for a reason.

Online safety

Never send money

Never send money, gift cards or financial information to anyone you meet on the Service. No exceptions.

Watch for red flags

Be wary of anyone who quickly professes strong feelings, pushes to move the conversation off-platform, or tells a story that ends in a request for help or money.

Guard your personal information

Do not share your home or work address, identity documents, passwords or other sensitive information in chat.

Video chat before you meet

A quick video call is the easiest way to confirm you are talking to the person in the photos. Be cautious with anyone who always has a reason to refuse.

Report suspicious behaviour immediately

Our moderation team combines automated detection with human review. Your reports make the Service safer for everyone.

Meeting in person

Meet in public and stay in public

First meetings belong in a busy, public place like a café, restaurant or bar. Never a private home, hotel room or remote location, and be wary if plans suddenly change.

Tell a friend or family member

Share who you are meeting, where and when with someone you trust, and check in with them during the date. Consider sharing your live location from your phone.

Arrange your own transportation

Get yourself there and back with your own car, a taxi or public transport. Staying in control of how you leave means you can leave whenever you want.

Watch your drink and stay clear-headed

Keep your food and drinks in sight at all times, know your limits, and do not feel pressured to drink. Impaired judgment is exactly what bad actors count on.

Trust your instincts

If something feels off, it is off. End the date, walk away or call for help. You owe nobody an explanation, and staff at most venues will help if you ask.

Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII)

If an intimate image or video of you, including a digitally created or altered ("deepfake") depiction, appears on the Service without your consent, report it via the in-product report button (category "Non-consensual intimate imagery"). We remove validated NCII and known identical copies within 48 hours of a valid request.
