Refund & Cancellation Policy

Version 1.1 — Effective 12 August 2026

This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") explains how purchases, subscriptions and virtual Coins work on https://tempteed.com and related services (the "Service"), operated by Selodap Limited. It forms part of your agreement with us (see Terms of Service).

1. Scope

This Policy applies to:

  • Coin packages (virtual currency bundles);
  • Premium subscriptions and other paid feature access;
  • In-app purchases processed through our payment partners (the payment methods offered at checkout).

It does not govern third-party app-store billing where the Service is distributed through Apple/Google storefronts — those platforms' terms apply in addition.

2. Virtual Coins — No Monetary Value

2.1. Coins are a limited, revocable licence to access designated in-Service features. Coins:

  • are not legal tender and have no cash value;
  • cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to other users or platforms;
  • may not be sold, traded or redeemed outside the Service;
  • may be subject to promotional conditions and expiry rules communicated at grant.

2.2. Coin purchases are generally non-refundable once Coins are credited to your Account, because supply of the digital content begins immediately — provided you expressly consented to immediate supply and acknowledged the loss of any withdrawal right at checkout (both recorded). This does not affect your mandatory statutory rights (Sections 7 and 12).

2.3. Free Coins (bonuses, promotions, registration gifts) are provided at our discretion, may carry conditions, and are never refundable.

2.4. Spent Coins are consumed when you use paid features (messages, gifts, unlocks, games, etc.). Consumption is logged; we do not restore Coins for features you chose to use, except where required by law or at our sole discretion in case of proven technical error.

3. Premium Subscriptions

3.1. Premium features, prices, billing intervals and included benefits are shown before you confirm payment.

3.2. Automatic renewal. Unless stated otherwise at purchase, subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods equal to the initial period until you cancel. The renewal price is the then-current price (we notify you of changes in advance per the Terms of Service).

3.3. How to cancel:

  • via your Account settings → Subscription / Premium; or
  • by email to [email protected] from your registered email address, clearly requesting cancellation.

3.4. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You retain Premium access until then. No further charges are made after cancellation.

3.5. No pro-rata refunds for unused days within a billing period, except where a mandatory cancellation right of your User Market applies (e.g. UK consumers cancelling within 14 days of purchase or renewal — see Sections 7.2 and 12).

3.6. Trial periods. Where a free or discounted trial is offered, cancellation before the trial ends prevents conversion to a paid subscription. If you do not cancel, the subscription converts at the price shown at sign-up.

3.7. Account deactivation. Deactivating your profile is reversible and does not itself cancel Premium. If renewal is active, Account settings require you to choose explicitly whether to keep renewal active or cancel it at the end of the paid period. Before accepting a permanent account-deletion request, we cancel renewal. If cancellation cannot be confirmed automatically, deletion is not started and support assistance is offered. Paid access continues only until deletion or the end of the current paid period, whichever occurs first, subject to mandatory refund rights.

4. Payment Processing

4.1. Payments are processed by third-party providers identified at checkout. We do not store full card numbers.

4.2. Your payment is subject to the provider's terms and fraud checks. Failed or reversed payments may result in feature revocation.

4.3. Prices are displayed inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes as indicated at checkout. You are responsible for any taxes not collected by us where required by law.

5. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

5.1. If you dispute a charge with your bank or payment provider (chargeback), we investigate the dispute. Filing a billing dispute does not, by itself, lead to suspension or termination of your Account, and we do not withhold goods or services you have already paid for because you raised a dispute.

5.2. We strongly encourage you to contact [email protected] first — most billing issues are resolved faster through us than through chargebacks.

5.3. Where an investigation establishes payment fraud or abuse (for example, claiming non-authorisation for a payment you made, or repeated unfounded chargebacks), we may revoke the specific Coins/Premium delivered against the disputed payment, restrict the Account, and report the matter to payment networks and authorities.

6. Technical Errors and Duplicate Charges

6.1. If a technical error caused you to be charged without delivery of Coins/Premium, or charged twice for the same purchase, contact [email protected] within 30 days with: your username; transaction date; amount; and any receipt/reference.

6.2. Verified errors are corrected by crediting Coins, extending Premium, or refunding via the original payment method — at our choice unless mandatory law requires a specific remedy.

7. Consumer Rights by User Market

Rights below apply based on where you use the Service (User Market), not where the Contracting Entity is incorporated. Nothing here limits mandatory rights.

7.1 United States

State auto-renewal disclosure and easy cancellation (checkout + Account settings). State refund and renewal laws apply. FTC negative-option guidance where relevant.

7.2 United Kingdom

Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. The cancellation regime distinguishes:

  • Coins (digital content, one-off supply): the 14-day cancellation right is lost once supply begins, where you expressly consented to immediate supply and acknowledged the loss of the right at checkout (both recorded);
  • Premium (digital service, ongoing): you keep the 14-day cancellation right after service begins. If you cancel within 14 days of purchase or renewal, you pay a proportionate amount for the period already supplied and we refund the balance within 14 calendar days (see Section 12).

7.3 Canada

Provincial consumer laws (Ontario, BC, Quebec, etc.): cooling-off and refund rules for distance contracts vary; digital-content exemptions may apply. Contact us first; then provincial consumer affairs.

7.4 Australia

Australian Consumer Law guarantees; remedies for major failures with digital services.

7.5 New Zealand

Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act; remedies for services not fit for purpose or misdescribed.

7.6 Other territories

Where you use the Service from a territory outside the Primary Markets, the mandatory consumer rights of that territory (including any statutory withdrawal or cooling-off rights for distance contracts) apply where they cannot be contracted out of.

7.7 General

Unfair terms: mandatory protections override restrictive clauses. Taxes: checkout shows tax treatment for your billing region.

8. Account Termination and Unused Balances

8.1. If you terminate your Account, unused Coins lapse without compensation, except where the mandatory law of your User Market provides otherwise.

8.2. If we terminate your Account for breach of the Terms or Community Guidelines, unused Coins and remaining Premium time lapse without refund, to the extent permitted by the mandatory law of your User Market.

8.3. If we terminate without cause, we will, at our option, allow a reasonable period to use remaining purchased Coins or refund their unused value, and refund unused prepaid Premium pro-rata.

9. Promotional Offers and Bonus Codes

9.1. Promotions, bonus codes and limited-time offers are subject to the specific conditions displayed. Unless stated, they are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

9.2. We may revoke promotional Coins obtained through abuse or fraud.

10. Bank Transfer / Manual Payment Methods

Where bank transfer or similar manual methods are offered:

  • access is granted after we confirm receipt (which may take several business days);
  • if payment is not received within the stated window, the order is cancelled without charge;
  • refunds for manual payments are returned to the originating account where feasible.

11. How to Request a Refund

Email [email protected] with:

  1. your registered email and username;
  2. date and amount of the transaction;
  3. payment method and any reference/invoice ID;
  4. clear reason for the request;
  5. confirmation of whether Coins were spent (if applicable).

We respond within 14 calendar days. Refunds owed under a statutory withdrawal right are processed within 14 calendar days of receiving your withdrawal declaration, to the original payment method. Other approved refunds are processed within 14 calendar days of approval, subject to payment-provider timelines.

12. Cancellation Instructions and Model Form (United Kingdom Consumers)

Right to cancel

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have the right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day the contract is concluded (for Coins and Premium, the day of purchase or renewal). To exercise the right, inform us — Selodap Limited, Rm 511, 5/F, Ming Sang Industrial Building, 19-21 Hing Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Hong Kong, [email protected] — of your decision by a clear statement (e.g. email). You may use the model form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication before the cancellation period has expired.

Effects of cancellation

If you cancel, we reimburse the payments received from you for the contract concerned without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed, using the same means of payment you used, at no cost to you. If you requested that a Premium subscription begin during the cancellation period, you owe us a proportionate amount for the service provided up to your cancellation. The cancellation right for Coins is lost once supply has begun, where you expressly consented to immediate supply and acknowledged losing the right (both recorded at checkout).
